Join us for a transformative weekend at beautiful Lake Samish, where nature becomes our mirror for transformation.

Early Bird (on or before March 23, 2025):

  • Full Weekend: $165  - Includes lodging Friday and Saturday nights, all meals, & all programs

  • Saturday Only: $65  - Includes three meals and full day of programming

Regular Registration (March 24 - April 10, 2025):

  • Full Weekend: $175

  • Saturday Only: $75

  • Last day for registration is April 10th

What to Expect

LODGING & FACILITIES:

Camp Lutherwood offers a rustic retreat setting nestled on the shores of Lake Samish. The venue is designed to support our connection with nature while providing necessary amenities during our transformative weekend together

Accommodations include:

  • Shared cabin-style lodging with bunk beds (provide your own bedding)

  • Bathroom and shower facilities are outside of the main cabins (20-100 ft away)

  • Main lodge with gathering spaces for activities-

  • Outdoor spaces for ceremonies and connection with nature

  • Lakefront access for water ceremonies and meditation

  • Trails for nature walks and personal reflection time

MEALS:

Included with your registration:

  • Friday: Dinner

  • Saturday: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  • Sunday: Breakfast

* Bring light snacks and beverages to share throughout the retreat.

* Please let us know on your registration form if you have special dietary needs. The camp can

   accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free but not celiacs.

What should I bring?

  • Comfortable clothing for movement and outdoors

  • Weather-appropriate layers

  • Journal and pen

  • Water bottle

Retreat Hours:

  • Saturday programming begins at 10:00 am 

  • Sunday Departure 11:00 am

Is childcare provided?

  • Please let us know if lack of childcare would be a barrier to attending.

What is the alcohol policy?

  • Camp Lutherwood and Retreat Center allows alcohol on the premises, but not in public spaces such as the dining hall. Although alcoholic beverages will not be served, you are welcome to bring some to keep and/or share in your cabin.

Can I come for just part of the retreat?

  • Yes, we offer a Saturday-only option. The full weekend experience is recommended for the deepest transformation, but we understand that schedules may not allow for complete participation.

How physically demanding are the activities?

  • Many activities are designed to be accessible and adaptable to different physical abilities. Please let us know about any mobility concerns on your registration form.

Are scholarships available?

  • Yes! We believe everyone who feels called to this work should have access. Please contact Sue Doster by email at Suraku@comcast.net or via text at 925-351-7683 to inquire about our scholarship fund. Donations toward our scholarship fund are also gratefully accepted.

What is the refund policy?

  • Full refund available through April 10, 2025

  • No refunds after April 10, 2025

  • If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant

  • Personal altar items (optional)

  • Swimming attire if you wish to enjoy the lake

  • Any personal items needed for comfort

We welcome proposals for workshops or sessions. These could include but not limited to:

  • Nature connection practices

  • Creative expression

  • Movement and embodiment

  • Feminine wisdom traditions

  • Community building

  • Workshop title and brief description

  • Time needed (30-90 min)

  • Any special needs or materials required
