What to Expect
ABOUT THE RETREAT:
Step into a weekend of renewal and joy at our 2026 Women’s Retreat. We will gather to weave a web of connection that uplifts and sustains us. Together we will nurture and replenish ourselves in community, welcome new BUF women into the circle, and strengthen bonds across generations.​

LODGING & FACILITIES:
Camp Lutherwood offers a rustic retreat setting nestled on the shores of Lake Samish. The venue is designed to support our connection with nature while providing necessary amenities during our transformative weekend together.
​
Accommodations include:

Shared dorm-style lodging with bunk beds (provide your own bedding) 6-15 people per cabin
-
Some cabins have bathrooms inside and some have a separate facility 20-100 feet away
-
Main lodge with gathering spaces for activities

Outdoor spaces for ceremonies and connection with nature
-
Lakefront access for boating, water rituals, and meditation
-
Trails for nature walks and personal reflection time

What is the alcohol and smoking policy?
-
Camp Lutherwood and Retreat Center allows alcohol on the premises, but not in public spaces such as the dining hall. Although alcoholic beverages will not be served, you are welcome to bring some to keep and/or share in your cabin.

Tobacco products are prohibited at the camp
​
Can I come for just part of the retreat?
-
Yes, we offer a Saturday-only option. The full weekend experience is recommended for the deepest transformation, but we understand that schedules may not allow for complete participation.

How physically demanding are the activities?

Many activities are designed to be accessible and adaptable to different physical abilities. Please let us know about any mobility concerns on your registration form.

Are scholarships available?
-
Yes! We believe everyone who is already a part of the BUF community who feels called to this work should have access. You will be able to request a scholarship on the registration form Donations toward our scholarship fund are also gratefully accepted!

What is the refund policy?

Full refund available through May 3, 2026

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another participant
